Test AI notice placement on mobile

Check the initial conversation view with the software keyboard, sticky controls and realistic text wrapping. Includes a free implementation worksheet.

Short answer

Check the initial conversation view with the software keyboard, sticky controls and realistic text wrapping. The notice should remain understandable in the actual mobile entry state.

When to use this guide

A mobile chat opens directly into a focused input, and the software keyboard pushes the identity notice above the visible area.

This is a fictional implementation scenario. The procedure below is Article 50 Hub's suggested working method, not a prescribed legal form, a customer result or a claim that every step is an additional statutory requirement.

Review procedure

  1. Open the assistant on representative narrow screens before entering any message.

  2. Observe automatic focus, keyboard opening and the initial scroll position.

  3. Test enlarged text and longer translated notice strings.

  4. Record whether the notice can be perceived at the relevant moment and correct layout problems.

What the example review finds

  • Automatic focus hides the notice behind the keyboard-driven scroll.

  • The translated identity line is clipped to an unreadable fragment.

Keep these example observations separate from your own results. An unknown or untested state should stay open until the relevant evidence has been inspected.

Fields for your working record

  • Device viewport

  • Keyboard state

  • Initial scroll

  • Notice wrapping

  • Retest capture

Use the downloadable blank worksheet linked on this page to connect the observed behavior with the deployed system. Add a reviewer, date, evidence reference, unresolved questions and a next action. The worksheet is editable locally and does not upload your records to Article 50 Hub.

Completion and handoff

Close the task only for the scope actually reviewed. Preserve the result that another authorized reviewer can reproduce, identify the owner of remaining work, and record a retest when the implementation changes. A completed worksheet is not a substitute for the underlying evidence.

Decision boundary

A mobile layout check covers the tested states and does not substitute for a broader accessibility review.
