Test AI notice behavior during SPA navigation

Review client-side navigation into and away from chat routes, including restored component state. Includes a free implementation worksheet.

Short answer

Review client-side navigation into and away from chat routes, including restored component state. A successful full-page load does not cover every route transition.

When to use this guide

A single-page app shows its notice on a direct chat URL but skips it when users enter from a dashboard shortcut.

This is a fictional implementation scenario. The procedure below is Article 50 Hub's suggested working method, not a prescribed legal form, a customer result or a claim that every step is an additional statutory requirement.

Review procedure

  1. List direct, internal-link and back-navigation entry paths.

  2. Observe whether route state reuses a dismissed or partially initialized chat component.

  3. Test browser back and forward navigation with a fresh and returning session.

  4. Save the route sequence that causes any missing or stale identity wording.

What the example review finds

  • Internal navigation bypasses the notice initialization.

  • Back navigation restores an outdated participant label.

Keep these example observations separate from your own results. An unknown or untested state should stay open until the relevant evidence has been inspected.

Fields for your working record

  • Entry sequence

  • Route state

  • Notice version

  • History behavior

  • Reproduction

Use the downloadable blank worksheet linked on this page to connect the observed behavior with the deployed system. Add a reviewer, date, evidence reference, unresolved questions and a next action. The worksheet is editable locally and does not upload your records to Article 50 Hub.

Completion and handoff

Close the task only for the scope actually reviewed. Preserve the result that another authorized reviewer can reproduce, identify the owner of remaining work, and record a retest when the implementation changes. A completed worksheet is not a substitute for the underlying evidence.

Decision boundary

Route tests do not determine whether other applications or embedded copies use the same disclosure correctly.
