Verify AI identity after a release rollback

Include identity wording and integration state in the rollback check. Includes a free implementation worksheet.

Short answer

Include identity wording and integration state in the rollback check. Reverting application code may leave configuration, cached content or translations on a different version.

When to use this guide

An incident rollback restores an older chat UI but retains a new notice configuration that the old component cannot render.

This is a fictional implementation scenario. The procedure below is Article 50 Hub's suggested working method, not a prescribed legal form, a customer result or a claim that every step is an additional statutory requirement.

Review procedure

  1. Record code, configuration and translation versions before the rollback.

  2. Identify which components of the disclosure change independently.

  3. Exercise the rolled-back entry path and its failure states in the approved recovery process.

  4. Save production verification and keep incompatible configuration tasks open.

What the example review finds

  • The older UI ignores the new notice field.

  • A cached translation no longer matches the active participant label.

Keep these example observations separate from your own results. An unknown or untested state should stay open until the relevant evidence has been inspected.

Fields for your working record

  • Rollback build

  • Configuration version

  • Translation version

  • Entry test

  • Unresolved mismatch

Use the downloadable blank worksheet linked on this page to connect the observed behavior with the deployed system. Add a reviewer, date, evidence reference, unresolved questions and a next action. The worksheet is editable locally and does not upload your records to Article 50 Hub.

Completion and handoff

Close the task only for the scope actually reviewed. Preserve the result that another authorized reviewer can reproduce, identify the owner of remaining work, and record a retest when the implementation changes. A completed worksheet is not a substitute for the underlying evidence.

Decision boundary

A rollback restores a software state; it does not automatically restore an adequate or previously reviewed disclosure.
